Waun made several changes with the return of Matthew Mason and Mike Harris and positional changes saw John Lewis at full back and Paul Davies on the left wing.Up front,Adam Lee started at prop and Chris Jones made his first appearance of the season.

Early pressure in the Dunvant 22 saw Matthew Mason break a tackle and score a try under the posts after eight minutes.Dunvant then came back into the game and only a fine tackle by John Lewis prevented a try in the corner.Dunvant then missed 2 kickable penalties before they scored a converted try after half an hour to level the score following an error at a Waunarlwydd scrum close to the line.Waun returned to the atack and seven minutes later,a fine move between the midfield backs in the Dunvant 22 saw Matthew Mason score a second converted try.Another try followed a few minutes later when Paul Davies broke from his own half and passed to Alan Pope on the Dunvant 22 who scored a third try for Waun. Dunvant kicked a penalty on half time which left Waun leading 21-10 despite being on the wrong end of the penaly count.

The second half started with Waun looking to inflict further misery on Dunvant by scoring a further try to score a bonus point,but this did not happen as the match drifted along with no periods of dominance for either side.There was only one kick at goal which was missed by Lee Jones.The latter part of the match was enlivened by the appearance of Mark Jones,the former Wales No.8,and he had some close encounters with the Waun forwards.Daniel Joseph was sent to the sin bin in the last 10 minutes,but Dunvant could not reduuce the arrears.

o in spite of a disappointing second half,a second victory leaves Waun in the top half of the table.Next league match is away to Tonmawr on October 13th.
